The Work of Leaders – Making Leadership Simple
1 Day Program
In this training program, The Work of Leaders – Making Leadership Simple, we focus on making leadership more accessible and effective through knowledge of the tangible steps required to direct and lead a group toward desired outcomes. Using the framework of Vision, Alignment, and Execution, the Work of Leaders training program enables leaders to understand and apply the highly practical leadership framework immediately.
The Work of Leaders is based on the result of a four-year research and development effort which analysed the work of prominent leadership researchers, and identified leadership best practices with input from more than 300 leaders at over 150 organisations globally. The training program gives leaders a one-stop shop for understanding the way they lead groups towards a desired goal.
Who Is The Training Program For?
The training program is for People Leaders, Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders.
During this training program, participants learn about:
- The Work of Leaders process of Vision, Alignment and Execution.
- Vision, Alignment and Execution: Participants learn about the drivers of Vision, Alignment and Execution, and discover their own strengths and development needs in relation to each aspect of the leadership framework.
- Participants learn about how to put the leadership framework of Vision, Alignment and Execution to immediate use.
- Action Planning: Participants explore their strengths and challenges in relation to each driver within the leadership framework and create an action plan for leadership growth.
Participants complete the Everything DiSC Work of Leaders online assessment prior to the training program and receive a 23-page personalised Leadership report during the training program. The report focuses on 18 behavioural areas, and includes with tips and strategies for improving leadership effectiveness. By combining the report with the learnings from the training program, participants have the information and resources, and have developed the skills on the training program, that they need to grow as a leader.
