360 Leadership is an 'off-the-shelf' 360 feedback system based on 9 researched global leadership competencies.
Both are great ways to develop leadership skills.
Which you use will depend on to what extent you buy-in to generic leadership competencies or to what extent you want to reflect your own organisations specific culture and leadership style, that which you have or that which you wish to develop.

360 Feedback is a web based tool that gives anonymous feedback from peers, managers and team members, about the team leader.
The questionnaire can be customised to focus on specific competencies and values related to your organisation.
Thus, 360 Feedback is specifically designed for your organisation, to help each team leader, manager and leader to develop and grow within the team and to create a successful, cohesive team unit.
What benefits does it give me?
360 Feedback can be used as part of an individual manager/leader development process or as part of an individual development plan for the manager/leader.
The manager/leader will gain huge insights into their own managerial/leadership style and how they are viewed / perceived by their team, their colleagues and their manager(s).
The clear benefit of a customised 360 Feedback approach is that it fully reflects your organisations values and core competencies around management/leadership.
How does it work?
We work with the company representative to define the critical areas for leadership success in your organisation.
The company representative will select Team Leaders, Managers or Executive Leaders to participate in the 360 feedback process.
In association with the manager, people to provide feedback will be selected. These can be team members, peers and the manager(s).
There is no upper limit to the numbers of people providing feedback but a minimum of 5 people is required in order to maintain anonymity.
The people giving feedback are sent an email containing a URL link which takes them to the questionnaire.
The questionnaire contains statements within various themes or sections. Each statement has an answer, rarely, sometimes, frequently or always.
There is also a text or comment box in each section where the person giving feedback can add anything they like relating to the theme.
Individual responses cannot be seen or changed by anyone else.
Is it confidential?
Yes. The names of the people giving feedback do not appear on the report so the feedback remains anonymous. Only aggregated results from all of the people giving feedback are reported.
As the questionnaire is hosted off the employer's server and is provided by an indepedent party, this also adds to the confidentiality.
How Quickly Can I get Feedback for our Managers/Leaders?
Once the people giving feedback have completed the questionnaires, a report is generated in seconds.
The results show the analysis by theme and by statement within each theme for each manager.
In addition, the text from the free comment boxes is also included in the report for each person.
How do Managers get their Feedback?
It is essential to give managers their feedback through a 1-1 feedback session of between one and one and a half hours.
Their own individual report will be examined and feedback provided on key areas of strength and weaknesses which should be addressed.
A further session can be arranged if necessary.
